Hubungan antara Gaya Kognitif Peserta Didik dan Hasil Belajar Matematika pada Materi Eksponen dan Logaritma

This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between cognitive style and students’ mathematics learning outcomes in exponential and logarithmic material. The research method is quantitative research through correlational techniques. The sample in this study is the second-semester students’ in SMK Siere Cendika Tangerang in school years 2019/2020 as much as 30 students by nonprobability sampling technique. The analyzed in this study are descriptive and inferential analysis. Based on the inferential analysis, the results showed that there was a positive correlation between cognitive style and student’s mathematics learning outcomes in exponential and logarithmic material. The correlation coefficient is rxy=0,8778with the regression equation is ?=6,38+0,67X. The coefficient of determination shows r2=(0.8778)2=77%, meaning that 77% of students' mathematics learning outcomes on exponential and logarithmic material is influenced by cognitive styles.
