Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Bangun Datar melalui Media Benda Konkret Sehari-Hari pada Peserta didik Kelas IV

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi bangun datar melalui pemanfaatan benda konkret sehari-hari pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN 10 Merapi Barat. Menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart dalam dua siklus, penelitian ini melibatkan 15 peserta didik sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Indikator keberhasilan ditetapkan apabila minimal 80% peserta didik mencapai batas ketuntasan (KKTP = 65). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas dari 57 (ketuntasan 26,67%) pada pra-siklus, menjadi 68 (ketuntasan 60%) pada Siklus I, dan mencapai 79 (ketuntasan 86,67%) pada Siklus II. Pemanfaatan benda nyata di lingkungan sekitar terbukti membantu peserta didik memahami sifat dan konsep bangun datar secara lebih konkret dan bermakna, sehingga efektif meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar matematika.
