Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a strategic approach to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study aims to gather information and provide an overview of the concept and implementation of ESD within the context of education. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through literature review from previous studies. ESD plays a crucial role in instilling knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, motivation, and a long-term commitment to sustainability in students. Its implementation in schools can be carried out through various instructional models supported by diverse learning resources and media, such as modules, digital presentations (PPT), educational videos, worksheets, Android-based educational games, textbooks, interactive electronic teaching materials, e-encyclopedias, and virtual field trips. The findings of this study indicate that ESD holds significant potential in shaping sustainable awareness and behavior among younger generations.
