Journal of Citizenship Values is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) Kusuma Negara, Jakarta, half-yearly in July and January. Journal of Citizenship Values highlights multidisciplinary studies that explore the complexity of social interaction, citizenship, and culture in the ever-evolving contemporary era. Journal of Citizenship Values welcomes contributions from various disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, political science, history, literature, cultural studies, psychology, and related fields. Journal of Citizenship Values is a scholarly journal aimed at providing a platform for innovative research and critical thinking in three main domains: (1) social humanities, (2) civic, and (3) culture.

In the domain of Social Humanities, Journal of Citizenship Values encourages research involving social science disciplines such as sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and political science. Relevant topics include social behavior, group dynamics, social change, social inequality, social identity, as well as contemporary social issues that impact individuals and communities. In the domain of Civic, Journal of Citizenship Values focuses on studies related to citizenship, political participation, public policy, and critical issues within the political system. Research in this domain involves the study of human rights, democracy, community engagement in public decision-making, political leadership, as well as citizenship issues related to conflict, peace, and justice. In the domain of Culture, Journal of Citizenship Values supports research in the field of culture, encompassing art, literature, religion, language, popular culture, and other cultural phenomena. Research topics include cultural analysis, cultural change, cultural identity, globalization, cultural pluralism, cultural interaction, as well as the role of culture in shaping individual and societal identities.
