Model RADEC dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Berbasis Penguasaan Diksi dan Metafora

Abstract

Choosing the right words can show a person's language skills. Metaphor is a form of word choice used to express feelings through language. Poetry is a place where someone expresses feelings. The aim of this research is to improve the ability to write poetry based on strengthening diction using the RADEC model for class IVD students at SD Negeri Pondok Pinang 05 Pagi, South Jakarta. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) uses the Kurt Lewin model with 4 research stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This PTK was carried out with 3 research cycles. Data collection techniques in this research are poetry writing tests, interviews, observations, field notes, and documentation. To analyze research data using flow model analysis, Milles and Huberman, namely collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and verifying or drawing conclusions. Triangulation techniques are used to check the validity of research data. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that 14.81% were able to write poetry. After implementing the RADEC model, there was an increase in the ability to write poetry. In cycle I, 37.04% of students were able to write poetry. Then the ability to write poetry increased again in cycle II, namely by 62.96%. And in cycle III, students' writing abilities were above the minimum research success criteria or as many as 81.48% of students were able to write poetry. Using the RADEC model can improve the ability to write poetry based on strengthening the diction of class IVD students at SD Negeri Pondok Pinang 05 Pagi, South Jakarta.
